Freedom of choice

This project is a reflection on the concept of freedom of choice. The objects direct movement through space while serving as a vector for contemplating what we truly mean by freedom of choice—and whether choice always implies freedom.The prototype is a remote signpost—a road sign indicating directions and distances to settlements—a kind of universal cross-cultural symbol. It is connected to the crossroads stone in Slavic folklore, which marks a pivotal life decision for the hero.
This image deeply influenced both the concept and its physical embodiment: the crossroads stone as a spatial landmark, signifying the hero’s life choice, transformation, and renewal that follow the decision.
